He was predeceased by: his father Rev. Gene Johns; his brother Timmy Johns; and his granddaughter Kayla Ingerman. He is survived by: his wife Patty Johns; his children, Robin Russ (Ronnie) of Chipley, Sherri Hawkins (Ronnie) of Fountain, Steven Johns of Fountain and Shannon Ingerman of Panama City; his mother Frances Johns of Fountain; and his brothers, Billy Johns (Lillian) of Compass Lake and Dennis Johns (Sherie) of Cedar Key. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Shaddai Shrine Fund for Crippled Children.
