He is survived by: his wife Angel Nelson; his daughter Maranda Godwin (Chase); his grandchildren, Ryan and Amelia; his mother Sue Hancock; his stepfather Ira; and his siblings, Amy Putnam, Stephanie Cook, Allen Nelson and Tonya Wilson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
