She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaac Whatley and Juanita Blackmon Whatley; her siblings, Earlene Croom, Gail Odom, Joyce Barber and Hewey Whatley; and her son Raymond Carl Nichols.

She is survived by: her children, Anita Hewett of DeFuniak Springs and Kenneth Nichols (Toni) of Middleburg, Florida; her daughter-in-law Cathie Nichols; her grandchild Shawn Nichols (Becca); and her great grandchildren, Carlee, Emalee, Romeo, Jaden, Kannon, Indy, Alayna, Javon and Lil Benny.
