He is survived by: his wife Kathy S. Powers of Fort White, Florida; his children, Christopher Powers (Kelly) of Gainesville, Florida and Melissa Ramon (Luis) of Fort White, Florida; and his sisters, Cynthia O'Steen (Larry) of Fort White, Florida. and Bonnie O'Steen (Russell) of Fort White, Florida.. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren; his five great-grandchildren.
