He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommie Lites and Hennie Mae Smith Lites; his wife Joan Marie Thompson Lites; his daughter Lisa Ann Swearingen; and his siblings, Larry Lites, Mary Frances Phillips and Annette Frantz.
He is survived by: his siblings, Gerald Lites (Arden) of California, Garry Lites (Debra) of Fort White and Imogene "Jean" Graham of Fort White.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 15th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home (3596 US-441, Lake City, FL 32025). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Mikesville Presbyterian Church (384 SE Clubhouse Ln, Lake City, FL 32024).
