She was predeceased by: her parents, George Todd and Mattie Todd; her husband Ernest C. Ricks, Jr.; and her children, Ernest C. Ricks, III, Helen Owens and Harry Ricks.
She is survived by: her children, Dennielle Hosang of Bowie, Beverly Whitner of Lake City, Lillian Ricks-Allen of Fort White, Florida, Timothy Ricks of Tampa and Anthony Ricks (Sharon) of Austin, Texas; her sister Frances Nichols of Covington, Georgia; her niece Colette Hagan (Gabe) of Covington, Georgia; and her nephew Al Nichols of Covington, Georgia. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
