He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson Pierce Hawkins and Thelma Sasnett Hawkins; and his siblings, Julia Hawkins Wood and David. He is survived by: his wife Gwendolyn; his son Brian; his daughter-in-law Jolene; his grandchildren, Hayden and Ayla; his sister Rebecca "Becky" Hawkins; and his brothers-in-law, Larry Wood, Norman Porter and Bobby Porter.
