She is survived by: her daughters, Caretta Bryant of Gainesville, FL and Kathy Carter (Mike) of Ponte Verda, FL; her grandchildren, Veronica Bryant, Felicia Harris (Brian), Vernice Nixon (Marcus), Jerel Phillips, James Nixon (Hannah) and Jacob Covington (Ki); her siblings, Chellie Smith of Walterboro, SC, Patricia Simmon (Lenard) of High Springs, FL, Ella Balderas of High Springs, FL, Annie Ruth Johnson of High Springs, FL and Ronnie Jackson (Delores); her sister-in-law Barbara White of St. Petersburg, FL; her aunt Marion Strawder of Gainesville, FL; her uncles, Frankie Sumpter of Gainesville, FL and George Mack Strawder (Cheryl) of Fort White, FL; her nieces and nephews, Beverly White, Felicia Bennett, Vicke Cole, Maria Balderas, Ray White, Jerry Peavy and Jermaine Bennett; her goddaughter Phyllis Conley; her close friends, Willetta Jackson, Claretta Jackson, Temps White and Karen Miniden; and her cousins, Venelean Simpkins and Grant Bennett. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, and sorrowing friends.
