She is survived by: her husband Melvin E. Freeman, Sr.; her son Melvin E. Freeman, Jr.; her stepchild Lametria Freeman; her brother Manford Sutton of Brewton, Alabama; and her brother-in-law Manford Miller of Slidell, Louisiana. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
