She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurine Garrison and Leland Joseph Barbour. She is survived by: her daughters, C. Taylor Simpson (Robin Wood) of Coral Gables, FL, Cathryn Sowers (Michael Sowers) of Portland, OR, Christine Simpson (Darrell Glisson) of Bella Vista, AR and Caren McVicker (Joseph McVicker) of Dorset, VT. She is also survived by six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at 560 Grand Blvd, Destin, FL 32550.
