He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy-Gene Eakes and Fanny-Inez Eakes; his siblings, Jim Eakes, Patricia-Darlene Arnold and Randy-Dean Eakes; and his brother-in-law Johnny Arnold.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tina Yee (Andre Yee), Tori Eakes, Tonya Leber (Mike Leber) and Taryn Hotchkiss (Thomas Hotchkiss); his grandchildren, Chad Dugas, Trystan, Trey, Trent Eakes, Kade, Kole, Kruz, Kali Hotchkiss and Preston Leber; his close friends, Mike Mccullough, Nicky Harvell, Steve Anderson and Kevin Carmichael; and also Gracyn Newberry.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Davis-Watkins Funeral Home (113 Racetrack Rd NE, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32547). A reception was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
