With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph Harold Starks Sr. (Fort Walton Beach, Florida), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 8, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Joseph's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Joseph has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Theodore George Schostag, Jr. (Teresa), Kathy Jane Nelson (Jerry), Glenda Voija Starks, Donna Marie Acree, Jessie Damer Chapman (Ken), Joseph Harold Starks, Jr. (Wendy) and Janice Kay Dahlin (Karl). He was also cherished by 19 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and the "mini" great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Davis-Watkins Funeral Home (113 Racetrack Rd NE, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32547). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at the Beal Memorial Cemetery (316 Beal Pkwy NW, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548).
