It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bertha Bell Edwards of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, who passed away on February 15, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nels Gustaf Nelson and Alma Jordan Nelson; her husband Nick Edwards; her child Dale; and her siblings, N. G. of Kenneth, F. N., Darrell, Trudell, Tillie and Orie.
She is survived by: her children, Don (Wanda), Mark (Helen), Scott (Julie) and Jana (Wally); and her sisters, Christine, Gussie (Dewey) and Audrey. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (126 Harbeson Ave SE, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at the Beal Memorial Cemetery (316 Beal Pkwy NW, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548).
