He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Lafayette Smith and Amy Elida Elliott of Addison; his wife Barb; his sister Amy Sanford (Lyman); his siblings-in-law, Michael, Brenda Walenta, Robin, James Hartless, James Smith, Joseph, Natalie Smith and Christopher Smith; his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Perry, Brittany and Julie; his great grandchildren, Casandra (Dominic), Samantha, Jessie Jr., Demetrius, Marlei and Preston; and his grandson Christopher.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations please be made to either the American Diabetes Association, The Wounded Warrior Project or Treasure Coast Hospice in William's name.
