He was predeceased by: his daughter Barbara Lynn Brogdon; and his brother-in-law Thomas DeWitt. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Moore of Claxton; his children, Charles A. Carlstrom (Debi) of Jensen Beach, FL., Richard A Carlstrom (Michelle) of Fort Pierce, FL., William L. Amerson (Natalie) of Townsend, GA and Rebecca S. Bradley (James) of Midway, GA; his son-in-law Kurt Brogdon of Jesup, GA; and his sister Norma J. DeWitt of The Villages, FL. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives.
