He was predeceased by: his parents, William Blue Jr. and Virginia Vernell Blue; his son Martravious Blue; his sister Nancy Blue; and his grandmothers, Ella Mae Mathis and Hattie Mae Blue.

He is survived by: his children, William L Blue, Darien Blue, Baby Boy Dallas Blue, Geneka Blue and Mariah Blue; his siblings, Johnnie Blue (Hester), Samuel Blue (Keisha), Walter Blue, Janice Doering (Donald) and Charlotte Blue; his grandchild Martravios Blue Jr.; his close friend Tierra Reynolds; and his aunts, Bertha Lee of Washington, Louise Robinson, Geneva Baker (Cyril), Mary Alice Sandifer (Robert), Sally Mae Blue, Rose M Lee and Tina Blue of New York.
