He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter J. McCarthy Sr. and Bridget McCarthy (Carter); and his wife Carolyn McCarthy (Hughes). He is survived by: his children, Kelly McCarthy-Prada (late Robert) of St. Augustine, FL and Stephen McCarthy; and his sisters, Eileen Fino and Margaret Macie. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
