It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vera Mae Johnson (Fort Pierce, Florida), who passed away on March 11, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Iola Brooks and Oscar Williams; her husband Arthur Love Johnson; her sister Gertrude Fuller; and her sons, Jerry Smith, Jr. and Rawliegh Morgan.

She is survived by: her children, Anthony Johnson, Betty Johnson of Fort Pierce, FL, Linda Johnson Santana (Peto) of Fort Pierce, FL and Elvaline McKenzie (Louis) of Fort Pierce, FL; her daughter-in-law Debra Morgan; and her goddaughter Kayanna Johnson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and sorrowing friends.
