She is survived by: her husband Randolph Stephens; her son Darrell Stephens (Chanel); her granddaughter Leilani of Lake Worth, FL; and her siblings, Milton Brooks (Joyce) of Newport News, VA, Donald Brooks (Virginia), David Brooks (Gioia) of Atlanta, GA, Michael Brooks (Juanita) of Columbia, SC, Rosemary Butler (James) of Hampton, VA and Gloria Freeman of Raleigh, NC. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Susanne worked as an Accounts Payable Coordinator at Foundation For Excellence in Tallahassee, FL for over 10 years.

“To Susanne Family, She was a good friend to me. We met in cross-jobs when I briefly left the State of Florida to work for TCC we both were hired and had orientation together. We walked, prayed and talked to encouraged each other through our employment while housed at Department of Education. Even after we departed our work experience, we continued to stay in touch and I will truly miss her. I always keep the memories we shared close to my heart. Rest in Peace my sweet Friend.”
