Minnis Sr.; her siblings, Dannie Hurst, Johnnie Lee Hurst (Sarah), Willie Hurst, James Hurst, Crawford Hurst (Eva), Annie Hurst, Mary Williams (Rufus), Daisy Peal Henfield (Vellen) and Mammie Kelly (Willie Albert); her son William "Billie" Minnis Jr.; and her grandson Lionel Wilbur Forbes Jr..
She is survived by: her significant other Missionary Baptist Church; her children, Franklyn McDonald Major Minnis of Nassau, Bahamas and Sarah Yvonne Minnis (Detelus) of Vero Beach, FL; her grandchildren, Joisaint "Jo" Detelus (Christina Hill) of Pennsylvania and Ilana "Lana" Detelus of Vero Beach, FL; her great grandchildren, Jason, Christian Detelus of Pennsylvania and Julia Detelus of Pennsylvania; and her godchildren, Dan Aaron (Shirley) of Vero Beach, FL, Wilbert Mitchner of Houston, TX, Sherri Stewart of Orlando, FL and Lakendra Shatae Crawford of Sebastian, FL. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
