It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Matthews of Fort Pierce, Florida, born in Letcher, Kentucky, who passed away on August 8, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Sharpe and Nora Pratt Sharpe; her siblings, James Sharpe, Edward Sharpe, Herbert Sharpe, Victor Pratt, June Varson and Gertrude Chamberlain; and her great grandchild Tristan White.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Matthews; her children, Travis Matthews of Hartwell, Melissa King of Vero Beach and Shane Matthews of Pickens, SC.; her siblings, Maxie Webb of Jenkins, KY. and Carolyn Varson of Pound, VA.; her grandchildren, Vanessa White, Mason Matthews, Carrie Troska and Mackinley King; and her great grandchild Titus Troska.
