He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Renata Rockey and Stanley Rockey; his siblings, Geraldine, George and Robert; his wife Nancy Hallas of Lisbon, Connecticut.; his daughters, Sara Louise and Naomi Lynn; and his sisters, Phyllis and Judy of Wisconsin. He was also cherished by his two daughters and son-in-laws, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In 2009, Ron was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease, he and Nancy semi-retired in New Mexico, to write and counsel.
