He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Guiel and Shirley Guiel; and his brother Victor Guiel. He is survived by: his children, Roger C. Guiel of Tucson and Alyssa J. Guiel of Tallahassee; his sister Sheila Borsari; his brother-in-law Rick of West Springfield, MA.; and his nieces and nephews, Rebecca Eggleston, Kate Borsari and Richie Borsari.
