It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Heckel (Fort Pierce, Florida), born in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 8, 2019, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon; his father-in-law Gerald Jenkins; and his brother-in-law James Jenkins. He is survived by: his daughters, Brooke Ruesch (Craig) of Kathleen, GA and Heather Lautenschlager (Aaron) of Negaunee, MI; his grandchildren, Elaina, Addison Ruesch, Jacob and Mason Lautenschlager; his mother-in-law Nettie Jenkins of Johnson City, IL; and his brother-in-law Robert Jenkins (Jackie) of Colp, IL. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Beaver Dam Scholarship Foundation or Restoring Hope Transplant House in Middleton.
