He is survived by: his wife Leose Adkins; his children, Randel Adkins, Jr. (Samantha), Larry Williams (Tammy), Barbara Pearce (Voltaire), Peggy Traylor (Rodney), Rhonda Adkins, Regina Adkins (Kenya) and Christina Adkins Lattimore; his siblings, Adline Kent Jesup, Annie Bogan Jesup, Teresa Alford (Hubert), Minnie Sweeting (Pritchard), Reva Pasley Jesup, Dorothy Baker, Lue Bertha Barton (Ned), Jessie Brinson, Betty Douglas, Tom Willie Smith (Allyne) and William Brinson (Queen); and his friends, Raymond Teague, Lance Kimball, Frank Johnson, Fabian Pierce and Lemar Hamilton. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and a host of great-grands, nieces, nephews, cousins, and sorrowing friends.
