He is survived by: his children, Azell Langston, Milton McNeil, Jr., Monique Smith and Deborah McNeil; his siblings, Virgil McNeil, Joseph McNeil, Charlie Shaw, Norman, Johnny Shaw, Diane McNeil and Judy Shaw; his nieces, Vanessa Shaw, Virancia McNeil and Cedrika Burgess; his nephew Robert Jones, Jr.; and his sisters-in-law, Cynthia Shaw, Betty Shaw and Nancy McNeil.
