She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Bearman and Margaret Bearman (Ness); her adoptive parents, Paul Herman and Matilda Herman; and her daughter-in-law Joann Carbonneau.

She is survived by: her husband Lester Carbonneau; her stepsons, John Carbonneau (Cindy) of Blaine, Jim Carbonneau (Mary Kay) of Greenwood, Jeff Carbonneau of Deephaven, Tom Carbonneau (Missy) of Deephaven and Tim Carbonneau (Carol) of Rush City, Minnesota; her grandchildren, Nick, Michelle, Andrew (Renata), Katy, David, Dan (Lauren), Calley (Andrew) and Pete (Rachel); her great grandchildren, Rachel, Addison, Hayden, Thomas, Evelyn, Louie and Willa; and her friend Doris Semon.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St Andrew Lutheran Church or Treasure Coast Hospice.

“Mary Lou was a loving companion to my father, Robert Clemens until his passing. She contributed immensely to his happiness in those last years. Our family is grateful that they found each other. Sadly we just learned of her passing due to returned Christmas greetings. We lost communication with her in March. Now we know why. Our prayers go out to her family, which we all heard about in her annual Christmas letters. In sympathy, Cathy Clemens Winkler”
