Hymes; his friends, Idella Brown, Van Lowe, Robert Barnes, Freddie Hawkins, Clarence Ghee, Marvin Ingram and James Phillips; his close friend Adora Armstrong (Muffin); his uncle Johnny Ballard, Sr.; his aunts, Shirley Ballard, Mamie Travis and Joyce Johnson; and his siblings-in-law, Ishmael Humphrey, Jermaine Hymes and Sistavia Travis. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends.
