Lois Rode Elias Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 26, 2023, at the age of 91, Lois Rode Elias of Fort Pierce, Florida, born in Visalia, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev E. A. Rode and W. Henriette Edelmann Rode; her brothers, Erwin Rode of Chatham and Hubert Rode; and her son-in-law Howard Veltman of Grand Rapids, Michigan..

She is survived by: her husband George Elias of Mount Pleasant, Michigan.; her brother-in-law Geoffrey Elias (Becky); her daughters, Jennifer Fairfax (Joe), Brenda Veltman (Howard) and Julie Bird (Gary); her nieces and nephews, Alan, David Rode, Wendy Floria, Regan Waldron, Lindsey Elias-Stroop and Geoff Elias Jr.; and her sister Luella Hershey of Lansing. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Memorials can be made to St. Jude Hospital which was Lois' favorite charity.
