It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Wayne Smith of Fort Pierce, Florida, born in Mount Gilead, Ohio, who passed away on September 24, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Larry Wayne may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Larry Wayne touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Smith and Lela Smith; and his sisters, Patsy Warme and Carolyn Sesco. He is survived by: his wife Diana Smith of Fort Pierce, FL; his children, Latisha Smith of Fort Pierce, FL, Kellesha Smith of Kentucky and Andrew Smith of Fort Pierce, FL; and his brothers, Jimmy Smith of Fort Pierce, FL and William Smith of Florida. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
