It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lacy Avant-Golphin (Fort Pierce, Florida), born in Evergreen, North Carolina, who passed away on October 16, 2018, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Columbus Avant and Flossie Andrews Avant; and her siblings, Mozell Lukus, Fred Avant and Paul Avant.
She is survived by: her husband Sidney Golphin; her siblings, Marlene Hadden, Angerlon Avant-Simmons and Izear Avant; and her daughter Allysa Simmons Walker of Sister.
