He was predeceased by: his parents, Jean Dunnivant and Grace Picha Dunnivant; and his sister Carol. He is survived by: his child Reading; his wife Barbara Dunnivant; his children, Bryan Dunnivant (Jane) of Indianapolis and Gail Griffey (Bob) of Tampa Florida; his grandchildren, Eric Dunnivant (Katie), Lisa Dunnivant, Greg Griffey and Corey Griffey; and his great grandchild Isabella Griffey.
