He is survived by: his wife Bernice Clark; his children, Joseph Clark, Johnnie Snead and Mary Snead; his siblings, Mille Pitts, Ruby Smith, L. C. Miller, Tommie Bell (Margie), Shellie Benjamin, William Benjamin and Paul Benjamin (Barbara); his grandchildren, Joe Clark (Sharnett), Jonas Watkins (Yara) and Joc Swoope; his siblings-in-law, Barbie Coe, D. L. Moore and Willie Moore; and his close friend Bobby Dixon. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and sorrowing friends.
