Terry H Shanahan (Karlotta) of Rye, NH and Ursula Ann Hesemann of Stuart, FL; his grandchildren, Brandon Lowenabach and Lindsay Fowler (Nathan); his great grandchildren, Elijah Lowenabach, Leah and Thomas Fowler; and his brother Captain James F Shanahan. He was also cherished by three nieces and two nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in loving memory of Dennis can be made to the church.
