She was predeceased by: her parents, Eli Sprague and Susan Emma Sprague; her husband Kattar "Kay" Samuel Ameen; her son David Kay Ameen of Palm City, FL; and her siblings, Clesson Sprague (Elma) and Mabel Smith (Watson).

She is survived by: her niece Shirley Ann Smith; and her nephews, Roger Sprague and Gerald Smith (Betty Lou).
