He was loved and cherished by many people including: his friend Billy Martin; his parents, Jim Roberts and Mildred McIntosh; his wife Yvonne; his children, Michelle (Sparky), Michael, Christy, Jamie (Scott) and Joey (Crystal); and also Sherry James. He was also cherished by 3 Grandchildren.
