He is survived by: his children, James Gibbs, Ernest Richardson, Bernice Wright (Freddie), Queen Gibbs (Johnny), Patricia Gibbs, Kimberly Gibbs, Cassandra Hicks (Leroy), Lisa Dunn (Fred), Jasmine Gibbs and Shekirrayah Everett; and his siblings, Johnny Gibbs, Charles Gibbs, Mary Edwards (Harvey), Alberta Edwards (Harry), Janie Gibbs, Viola Gibbs and Carolyn Lewis.
