She is survived by: her children, Marquis Sheffield, Lawanda O'Neal, Tamekia O'Neal (Alexander), LaTonya Harris (Johnny) and KaTina Sheffield; her siblings, Sandra Fulton (Willie), Leroy Hooks, Calvin Brooks, Darrell Brooks (Helen) and Michael Brooks; her daughter-in-law Katie Garrison; her goddaughters, Shakelia Adger and Sheila Davis; and her close friends, Willie Hudson and Elizabeth Hunt. She is also survived by aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other friends.
