He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Carter and Harold Grant Sr.; and his granddaughter Nadika Grant. He is survived by: his daughter Frances O. Grant; his grandchildren, Ja'Harold Wright, Claudia Grant and Capane Bertera; his stepson William Woodside; and his cousin Kathy Hundley of Camilla.
