It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Howard Emerson of Fort Pierce, Florida, born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on October 14, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Catherine McElroy; and his great grandchild Cooper Finley. He is survived by: his wife Lorraine; his children, Lori Emerson-Mahlschnee (Steve) of Fort Pierce, FL, George H. Emerson III (Peggy), Sherri Emerson-DeLeon (Thomas) of Texas, David Kerrigan (Gina) of Fort Pierce, FL and Regina Roper (Gregg) of Florida; and his grandchildren, Christopher, Danielle, Stephen, Clark, Ollie, Joshua, Jordan, Alexandria, Ashleigh, Andrew, Deven, Harley, Brooke and Logan. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church or to Treasure Coast Hospice.
