She was predeceased by: her parents, Dan Simmons, Sr. and Daisy Quinney Simmons; her grandmother Rosella Rodgers; and her siblings, John Ace, Dan, Aaron Simmons and N. Jean Bailey.
She is survived by: her siblings, J. L. Simmons (Linda), Rosetta Moore and Ida Simmons; and her sisters-in-law, Lessie Simmons and Otha Simmons. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and sorrowing friends.
