He was predeceased by: his parents, Gail Stokes and Frances Kesterson Stokes; his son-in-law Russell Mastroff; his sister Eileen Stokes Moody; and his niece Debbie Moody.
He is survived by: his wife Eva Apple Stokes; his daughter Davita Stokes Mastroff; his granddaughter Raechel Mastroff; and his sister-in-law Karen Hewitt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
