She was predeceased by: her husband Pedro Silvero; her parents, Paul Merian and Helena Merian; her brothers, Ernest and Peti; her stepson John Silvero; and her son-in-law Joseph Strazzulla.
She is survived by: her sons, Peter and Daniel; her stepdaughter Jane Strazzulla; her daughter-in-law Beth; her grandchildren, Eva and Nicolas; and her sisters, Elsbeth Keller of Zurich, Switzerland. and Rosemarie Testa-Merian of Zurich, Switzerland..
