It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deanna Kay Byrd (Fort Pierce, Florida), born in Reidsville, Georgia, who passed away on May 16, 2020, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her children, Earnest Navarro (April) of Ft. Pierce, FL., Shikima Byrd-Johnson (Anthony Johnson) of Ft. Pierce, FL., Rayvon Simmons of Ft. Pierce, FL. and Kimbria Byrd-Warren of Ft. Pierce, FL.; her stepson Brian Reed of Fort Pierce, FL; her grandchildren, Ra'King Simpson, Tah, McCall, An'keena Johnson, Kay, Ant, Ar'monie Johnson, Tyree Desire, Earnest Navarro III and Aviona Simmons; her brothers, Benjamin Fillmore, Jr., Dwayne Fillmore of Fort Pierce, FL and Brian Curry of Glennville, GA.; her aunts and uncles, Sylvester Charles Byrd, Jr. of Fort Pierce, FL., Malcolm "Bo" Byrd of Fort Pierce, FL., Arthur Lee Butler of Fort Pierce, FL., Patricia Byrd of Avon Park, FL, Letha Fullwood, Perrethia Byrd and Laverne Daughtry of Fort Pierce, FL.; and her niece Sarita Whittaker of Fort Pierce, FL. She is also survived by friends, children and especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Grandparents: Callie Will and Sylvester Byrd; Claude & Charity Fillmore; Parents: Corine L. Byrd-Fillmore & Benjamin Fillmore Sr.; along with other loved ones that were dear to her.
