He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Mace Kavanaugh Sr. and Elizabeth French. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Kavanaugh; his children, Dan Kavanaugh (Kim), Kelli Powell (Bill) and Jodi Kavanaugh; his grandchildren, Britney Aten, Karla Kavanaugh (Max Timmers), Tara Kavanaugh, Kyle Aten (Kelly Aten) and Kole Powell; and his great grandchildren, Braden Mace, Lily and Dani.
The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to the University of Miami Baseball Fund in Dan's name.
