He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Penningon and Joyce Penningon; his sibling Sandy Gillespie (Matt); his nephew Jim Gillespie; and his nieces, Sarah Gillespie and Carolyn Murphy (Jack).
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Martin Funeral Home & Crematory, Stuart Chapel (961 S Kanner Hwy, Stuart, FL 34994).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in his honor to Samaritans Purse and Treasure Coast Hospice and become an organ donor.
