Courtney Lynn Franco Obituary
Courtney Lynn Franco of St Lucie West passed away on September 10, 2017. Courtney was born in Fort Pierce on May 19, 1994. She graduated with Honors from Ft Pierce Central in 2013. Courtney attended IRSC with plans to be an RN and worked at Publix in St Lucie West as a deli clerk. Courtney is survived by her parents Alison Ewing and Tom Franco, fiancé Stephen Roach, step father Michael Ewing, sister Aryana Hill, brother TJ Hill, grandparents Don & Mariellen Thomas, Tony & Meg Sama and Victor & Carol Franco, best friends Krista Linares and David Roberts, Uncle Patrick Sama and Aunt Jennifer Sama, Uncles Anthony Sama and Nick Sama, Aunt Christina Franco, Aunt Linda Smith and Uncle Tommy Smith, Aunt Donna Blackmon, Aunt Bobbie Diamond and Uncle Paul Diamond, as well as many great aunts, great uncles, cousins, second cousins and friends who will miss her dearly.
At the age of three, Courtney was diagnosed with a Cardiac Tumor, which eventually contributed to her death. Courtney spent the majority of her life in St Lucie County. As a teenager, she lived for a short time in Signal Mountain Tennessee whereat the age of 13, she met the love of her life, Stephen Roach. Stephen and Courtney maintained contact through the years and eventually reunited in 2015 and began planning their lives together.
Courtney was full of life and everyone who met Courtney saw that she was a beautiful person inside and out. Her smile would light up the room and leave a lasting impression. She was at a stage in her life with a man who she loved and loved her, with wedding plans on the horizon. She knew that she was well loved by her family & friends and she was content.
Her fiancé, family and friends will honor her memory by continuing to lead productive and satisfying lives until such time as we are reunited in Heaven. For now, we will think of Courtney when we drink tea, eat Asian food, and see cherry blossoms. There is a Special Angel watching over her loved ones. Her sarcastic sense of humor and her unconditional love will be missed most of all.
