She is survived by: her son David Wayne Monroe; her granddaughter Shardae Kia Tierre Monroe of Tampa, FL; her brothers, Toney Lucas, Jr. and David Lucas, Sr.; her sisters-in-law, Helen Lucas and Rena Lucas; her niece Karen Lucas Brown; and her godchildren, Sia Walker and Donald Calhoun. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
