He was predeceased by: his parents, James Harris and Elizabeth Harris (Brimer). He is survived by: his wife Margaret Harris; and his siblings, Dirk Harris and Brenda Harris. He is also survived by 6 step-children; 4 nieces and a nephew; 17 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.
