She is survived by: her daughter Regina Franklin; her grandchildren, Renisha Freeman (Cedric Bailey), Amariah Bailey and Amaree Bailey; her siblings, Willie Lee James (Marion), Tommy Lee James, Gloria Gaskin and Margaret McCoy; her aunts, Maimi Conyers and Martha Rogers (J. P.); and her sister-in-law Ruth James.
